Friendly Update

There is no special reason why I have not been updating this blog recently. I just haven't had too much to say lately. Reading over the last few that I wrote they seem to be a bit on the depressing side and for no reason. Times are tough all over and everyone is going through something but mine is no worse than anyone else. If anything, mine are far less. Sometimes I wonder if the maternal unit sits all day thinking of new and exciting ways to push my buttons, but at least she is still with me and if that keeps her going, I can take it. The prodigal son is still there with the maternal unit judging my every action, but at least that keeps her button pushing to a low roar. The company is focusing on making itself more "lean and profitable" which meant that there were pay-cuts and decreases in benefits, we all still have a job here. The maintenance guy at the homestead has taken over a month and a half and I still do not a properly functioning toilet, but I have a roof over my head. Some jackass decided to take out $29.95 out of my account 7 times for some very strange expenses... (seriously, WHY would I ever order Woman's Day?? or any of the other magazines for that matter when I can read them for free online??) but after a lengthy phone call, I will have that money replaced in 7-10 business days.
So all in all... life is not that bad. With that... I leave you with your moment of zen
